Excellent step up!
Model Year: 2010

I had a BX2320 for 5 years and LOVED it but it was time for a newer model and when I sat on this one and just fell in love with it. I have the Kubota FEL, Woods 54" box scraper, 48" Land Pride 3 point mower, aerator and sprayer. I average over 100 hours per year and have never had one serious issue with my Kubotas. I started off with a BX 1500, but needed a little more power with the Kubota Bagger so went with the 2230 and never looked back. I use mine to move snow, mow and maintain 3 acres and also help out some of my neighbors who are unable to move their own snow. 0% financing made it way too easy to "upgrade" to a bigger tractor! Seems like they are very proud of their tractors, but you get what you pay for. The ONLY thing I'm not crazy about is how you engage the PTO, you have to use the clutch and like the way the other one engaged better.

Pros: Everything about it is great.
Cons: Initial price, way the PTO engages.

Great Machine!
Model Year: 2008

I have a small business doing snow removal for residential customers. This thing is a snow eating machine! I ended up getting the 51" industrial front mount blower with the hydraulic rotation (and fabricated an electric chute deflector/actuator wired to the joystick) since kubota wanted $800.00 for the kit. This thing eats the snow like no other and I do not run at PTO rated speed as it is not needed. The tractor could be a little heavier but I will load the tires to rectify this problem.

Pros: Great power, 4x4 and 3 range hydro
Cons: Not enough weight

Love my Baby 'Bota
Model Year: 2009

I bought the tractor while I was overseas, so everything was done over the phone or the internet. I had never sat on one until it was delivered on 2/15/10, when I got home. I love this tractor. The only thing that I am not a fan of so far, is the quarter-inch valve versus the position control valve. The more you work with it, the more you get used to it, but that is about the only thing I have to complain about so far. The hydraulics aren't the strongest out there, but you know that when you buy the tractor. I'm a little confused about the split brake. It's located on the same side as the accelerator, so unless you are using the cruise control, they are kind of useless...but it is a hydro-stat anyway, so what's the point? It's pretty much perfect for my 5 acres.

Pros: Egronomics, comfort, handling
Cons: quarter-inch valve vs. position control

B2920 Kubota
Right choice for me
Model Year: 2008

We have nine acres of gently rolling, half-wooded, half-open terrain, two creeks on property. Implements owned and used- 60" Land Pride box blade, Bush Hog SQ148 rotary cutter, LA364 front loader, RCK60-29B mid-mount mower, Land Pride 48" landscape rake, John Deere ballast box, Kubota canopy. Equipped with R4 industrial tires (non-filled). Front ballast bracket with several suitcase weights, Pat's Easy Change three point hitch system (can't imagine not having it). Mow grass two hours weekly, lots of bushhogging heavy brush, have towed/pushed/lifted several dozen large trees. Maintain 300' gravel driveway with front loader and box blade, distributed three 25 ton loads of gravel. Have done all of the scheduled maintenance myself, including all fluid and filter changes (very simple, can't imagine paying dealer). Just did first gearbox fluid change on mower. I have had ZERO problems with this machine, other than a self-induced rear tire flat when I broke off the valve stem on a log. Have asked a lot of this tractor at times, probably overloaded bucket and three point hitch, no complaints or problems. One hundred percent satisfied. Mounting/removing front loader or mower deck becomes routine after a few times, five minutes or so total time if on hard flat surface. It is my first tractor, seriously considered other brands, notably John Deere, but this machine seemed to have the right combination of price, quality, features, and bulletproof reputation. It has not disappointed.

Pros: Ease of operation, durability, reliability, good value
Cons: None
