Recently acquired a 2005 CK 25 Kioti with a FEL and BH, my biggest problem with the backhoe was the little 2375 came with a 16-inch bucket digging around stumps and roots was a difficult so I decided to make myself this little deal... it is made out of half inch plate and I added quarter inch to each side making it a full 1 inch thick. I also added a removable tooth that I picked up at the local Tractor Supply, so far it has worked like a champ back to Happy Trackoring 20170807_200918.jpg20170807_200840.jpg20170808_194806.jpg20170807_201147.jpg20170807_201121.jpg20170807_200309.jpg

This is one nice tooth. Nice clean job too. I'll just bet that rips roots, brush and debris.

Thanks... with the marvel of lasers these days it makes it pretty easy to do custom Fab

It is a neat job. Only negative to me is the work to change bucket to tooth. I know for I do not have a quick change bucket system either so you just have to plan your work. Would be a trick to come up with a design that folded down for use and then up when not needed. I am sure many have looked at that.

Will say do not over look using it for trenching for cable or plumbing water line or such. Should work very well if it will be deep enough. But no doubt really helps at breaking those roots.

That ripper looks AWESOME!! Teeth all the way from top to bottom. Laser is good, but I only have O/A torch. Any build pics or computer/CNC docs? About how long is the tooth? I have a Mahindra Max 28 with a backhoe, but a dedicated ripper is what I need. Buckets don't cut it for stump removal.

It is a factory add. It uses the tractor hydraulic system. Equipped with 8", 12", 16" buckets.
