3520R Branson
Hydraulic System
Model Year: 0

The first day I have used the bucket the joy stick broke on the 3 time. The lift does not move as easy and smooth as the JD tractors I have had in the pasted. After inspecting under the rubber protector of the joy stick I found plastic parts which can not last under normal used. The Service department agree to fix it right away and all the dealer owners were very nice. None of them acted like the JD people which was the reason I purchased the Branson anyway.

Pros: Heavy.
Cons: Plastic part on a tractor. Please.

Engine blew with less than 60 hours on it
Model Year: 2012

A plug from the head came out on inside busting a hole in the piston. Dealer rebuilt entire engine. Few months later the front axle housing cracked. Needless to say i was without a very much needed tractor for several weeks.

Pros: Can use tractor now
Cons: Not an american made tracto

Awesome Machine
Model Year: 2015

I looked at all tractor brands over 6 months and then found the Branson 3520R. This tractor was 1,000 pounds heavier and had more 3-point hitch and FEL weight capacity than anything else in its price range. The Cummings engine provides plenty of power and I have found nothing this tractor will not do. Clearing 7.5 acres of heavily grown up hill terrain has been made less of an endeavor than originally thought thanks to the high build quality and ruggedness of the Branson. Installing a Piranha tooth bar on the front bucket makes clearing brush up to 5" a breeze. The Branson backhoe was a great add on as well. Very pleased.

Pros: Heavy weight for its class , feels like a much bigger tractor, great lifting capacity , lots of adjustability in the 3-pt hitch linkages
Cons: Exhaust exits at front facing down which stirs up dust

This 3520R is my second Branson Tractor and it far out performs my first Branson (2400) which did quite a bit for me. The 3520R specs compete quite evenly with the much more expensive John Deere 3520 and it fits in my small shop as easily as my former 2400. I'm impressed with the size and lift capabilities the 3520R offers. The 3-point easily floats ALL of my attachments with ease and has no problems with my backhoe. The height and ease of the front loader feels like I have twice the capacity of what I was used to with the 2400. My dealer was right when he said I was getting an extremely more powerful tractor with this upgrade. I had already made the purchase when he said that Branson had made so many improvements and their reputation has favorably grown so much that they have built another facility in Texas. I was pleased to take that to mean that my 3520R came from Texas, as Branson has expanded operations from Rome, Georgia! Maintenance is easier with the rear view window gauge between the 3-point lift arms for monitoring the HYD/Tran fluid. The Cummins is easily accessible with the easy-up hood for checking oil and coolant. It seems like a tank of diesel (9 gallon capacity) goes forever and onto multiple jobs! Great, fun, but a hard working tractor for any project! I absolutely love this tractor!

Pros: Performs as advertised with the uses I have and need!
Cons: Too heavy for "yard work." It will tear up your grass.

3520R Branson
Diesel Particle Filter
Model Year: 2015

This had great performance for the first 60 hours, then it shut down and would not start. The dealer service, however, was great. They came and picked up the tractor, did some troubleshooting and revealed that the DPF was clogged up. The warranty service fixed everything; however, the Branson tech rep indicated that the new tractors with DPF have to be run at or above 2,000 rpm for the filter to burn off the particulate. I am not sure this is a good idea for long engine life. As time goes on, I will be paying attention for those who may find a work around for these DPF filters.

Pros: Very good tractor
Cons: DPF addition
