2014 Hustler Raptor 42"
Model Year: 2014
I retired from the Marine Corps and settled down on a 1 acre property. I mowed with my trusty Cub Cadet LT1042 for 9 years, but got the itch for a new mower. I watched my neighbor use his ZT for a couple years and wanted one. Started the research which led me to this forum. Like many, I was faced with so many choices, but wanted to stay with a local dealer. I decided the new Hustler line would be good for my needs. My Dealer just happened to be getting into the Hustler line so I bought the 42" Raptor. So far after 14 hours it has been a joy to mow with. Faster, better cut, quieter, easy operation and a huge time-saver. It may be "residential", but the build quality is above and beyond many ZTs in it's price range.
Pros: Great company, quality build & assembly, excellent engine, great looking!
Cons: Inexpensive so does not include engine guard and a couple other accessories.
