JD 2032R
Model Year: 2015
I have only gotten twelve hours on the tractor to date, but so far I am very impressed with the tractor itself. It feels bigger than it looks and the performance is impressive. There were a couple of dealership setup issues and in my opinion a couple of design issues, but the tractor is built like a tank and everything I hoped it would be. Design wise I have 2 criticisms: 1) Location of the handbrake which is in an awkward spot and sits just right of center on driving platform, requiring bending and reaching down between legs. 2) location of the hydraulic connectors on right underside of tractor. Like the rest of the tractor they are very well built and on a normal reasonably tended property no issue I am sure, but on my what was a very neglected property where everything is overgrown, the hydraulics are constantly coming into contact with brambles, saplings etc. No damage to the hydraulics has occurred to date, apart from one of the rubber caps being ripped off and lost. Given the build quality, I anticipate things will stay that way, but personally I would prefer to see the connectors out of the way of possible trouble. Apart from the above, I am very pleased indeed and would certainly recommend the tractor to others with the above caveats. I have given 5 stars for reliability despite only having 12 hours on the machine as it looks and feels reliable and that is what I have heard from several independent sources.
Pros: All around build quality, robustness, power
Cons: Location of handbrake, location of hydraulic connectors
