    we just changed the hydralic filter and fluid, it now is jerking like air is in the line. How do we get the air out?

2550 John Deere
JD 2550
Model Year: 1986

Bought this larger John Deere to supplement our small farm. We also have an older JD 2020 diesel. The 2550 is a good machine; we just rebuilt the water pump. My brother and I like it to supplement the 2020 but will probably look for a larger machine as we are growing. I'm currently considering a JD 4020 and some JD 4440 tractors.

Pros: Pretty good value for a used machine.
Cons: Just did $1,000 in repairs, not bad for 25 years old though. It's still the original motor and transmission.
