4010NEW John Deere
Love It
Model Year: 2007

Never had any problems. Grand kids are getting good at using the front end loader. Does everything I need.

Pros: Just a great general use machine
Cons: Have to keep up with a few rust spots, even when always being shedded

4010NEW John Deere
First Compact Tractor
Model Year: 2004

I bought this tractor used from a good friend of mine with almost 500 hours on it at the time. This was a great first tractor. A little low on power but at the time it was not an issue. Did not have the auxiliary hydraulics on it and they were no longer available. Traded it in on my 2320.

Pros: Very reliable tractor.
Cons: Did not have SCV.

First Review Late Summer Yard Work & Winter First Snow
Model Year: 2003

Compact tractor with a front end loader So far really happy. Move 2 tons of mulch and 5 yards of black dirt. Prepared it for winter with a Oil and filter change and a fuel mix of summer diesel and kerosene, so far has started at -5 Degree F. Also cleaned the bucket and brushed it with STP so snow would not stick. Added chains for weight and traction and built a weight box for the 3 point hitch which holds old automotive batteries also to help with winter traction. Two light snow falls so far, so no challenge for the tractor. Mainly use the bucket with the lip inclined up to pack the snow on my long gravel drive and smooth it for next heavier snows.

Pros: So far all pro's it has done everything I needed and I am still having fun using the new toy.
Cons: Really hard to remove the old oil filter, plus when you finally get it loose the oil runs down the block, frame, and arm.
