12 Horsepower Wonder
Model Year: 1972
I bought this tractor for 100 dollars. It came with a mower deck and snow blower. It was in very poor shape. I rebuilt the motor and transmission and mower deck, which was easy work. The snow blower just needed new belts and lubrication. It has not let me down since its rebuild. This summer it will be getting a new seat, complete paint job and a long stack muffler (cannot find the original replacement unit). I've used it to cut grass, clean snow, haul fire wood (logs) from the bush and as bush transportation (wife in trailer) to explore our 100 acre lot.
Pros: Very, very heavy. It's amazing what 12 hp can do with a solid cast iron motor and transmission.
Cons: Very, very heavy.
