Got Ambushed Last Night and Shot!

I've been silent. For the most part.
I cought a bout of blood poisining
I'v lost my vision in my left eye. And just learning to type again.
Please bear with me.

That guy just got stopped for failure to display his license on the 4th of this month, but I can't find anything about this incident.

hypothetically speaking here... in general...220 genset with about 20' of 10-2 wire with a pug on one end, and then the other end, the wire is spread into a 'y' about 3-5' apart with insulation stripped off the last 6" of the y end. lay the line out inthe water.. throw some chum in the middle of the y... be out of the water!!! as fish take the chum in the 'y'.. hit the power to the plug.. fish float to the top.

I... uh.. have only heard about this of course.. i um.. wouldn't do it myself because it seems a tad dangerous.. and is probably expressly illegal...

That sounds a lot like telephoning....While I personally have not done it I know of who have. You use and old crank style telephone and drop 2 wires into the water. Then call up the fish and they float to the top....

Yep.. hand crank dynamo's I've seen some military surplus ones that I wanted to get.. but never was able to.

To give away my age a little, when I was in grade school we used to have a teacher who would play "telephone". No, not the kind where you pass a message down the line to see how much it changed, but where we would all hold hands in a a semi-circle with each end holding one end of an old crank telephone.

The game was to see who would be the last person to 'drop out', or let go. If you let go, you were to sit down and the next people would hold hands without you in the line. It's amazing how much one of those old telephones would "shake" you. Hmm, I won that contest quite a few times....maybe that's my problem now. Could you imagine what they'd do to a teacher doing that now?!
