My new 1528 with BH & loader is supposed to be here between 3-4 EST.

i got my 1528 today and will post pics as soon as possible. The only thing I wasn't expecting is that the backhoe is not a quick disconnect. I need to take the whole sub-frame off when I wish to remove it. It seems like a real pain. Does anyone else have the same setup and does it get easier with time? I do really like the tractor and it will get a work out this Sunday with some water line installation.:D

Yeah, JohnnyB, that device is a level indicator-- the top, long part of the "bracket" is parallel with the bottom of the bucket, so if the yellow line looks to be level --parallel to the ground--, so's the FEL bucket bottom. Once you get used to it, it will help prevent digging the front lip of the bucket into the ground when you don't want it to.

Jaybrad & I have the same set-up, for the same reason- we didn't get quite as much snow here (NH) last year as central ME did, but darned close to it. I'll be ready for it this year! I'll still hang on to my 8HP walk-behind blower for "trim" work, but that MF blower in front of a 2310 is really something to behold.:D

Well, we have *close to* the same setup, except that I went with a rear mount snow blower so I could keep the bucket for digging out around the mailbox and other places where I wanted to pick up and move the snow as opposed to blowing it.

I shouldn't say that I'm looking forward to dealing with the snow because the only fun part is when I'll get to use the tractor and snow blower, but that is fun, to be sure. :D

In the meantime, I still have some more backhoe work to be done. :D:D

Sweet! Very nice new tractor.

Of course, I'm kinda partial to your *old* tractor. :D

Meant to ask - how many hours did you have on your 2310 - and why did you decide to trade?
