Do they offer KK products?

I have TSC (the farthest away) and I believe they still carry KK brand implements. Orscheln Farm and Home carries KK implements and I'm pretty sure Rural King carrys the KK line as well. They're painted Yellow, so I guess it's KK.

I bought my KK II tiller from Orscheln. 72" was right at $1500 with taxes.

Around here I had the same problem with TSC, actually ordered a rotary cutter and when it came in it was a Farm Force, ended up taking it, but wasn't happy with the switch they made. Sure it was cheaper to buy from Farm Force!

You can buy KK stuff from Nothern Tool

King Kutter Middle Buster, Model# MB | Cultivators + Tillers | Northern Tool + Equipment

I looked at it from northerntool problem was shipping was almost 90.00 for a little more I could get a larger 2 buster model from a farm supply local

I just got off the phone with KK. (Ordering a set of tines for a tiller) If they're bankrupt, no one has told any one at King Kutter! All's well as far as they know.

Look around. The workers are the last to know. They usually find out when its on TV. Look at Lehman Brothers. LOL

I'm not sure where KK implements are made, but I think TSC is trying to source heavy stuff as locally as possible, perhaps on a regional basis. I purchased an auger about a year ago. According to the TSC catalog, their augers were made by Speeco, a Colorado company. However, all the augers in stock at my local TSC were made or imported by some small outfit in Alabama.

I assume they are trying to keep freight charges down.

I bought a Speeco auger at my local TSC in SC about 6 months ago.....they had several in stock, and I'm even farther from Speeco than you are. Of course the most expensive part, the gearbox, came from, surprise- China.

Same with them here in GA, both the stores I use have a LOT of KK implement's on the yards

Did it say Speeco on it? The stuff they had locally actually had the same SKU as the Speeco item in the TSC Blue Book. While I only bought an auger, they were so poorly made that the manager and I went through a bunch of them trying to find one the had the single  bolt hole drilled on center.

We even unboxed a brand new PHD to use as a fitting test bed. It too was came from Alabama. The gearbox was definitely Chinese.

I live in Wisconsin, Fleet Farm carries King Kutter, no indication from them that King Kutter is going out of business. They are selling King Kutter at every store in Wisconsin.
