NH TC34DA 34HP HST, 2 rear remotes, front diverter, loaded R4's
I consider myself capable of wrenching and not breaking too many things.
To reach the engine oil filter on this machine requires very small hands and double jointed something. I considered taking the loader off but it would not have helped much. I guess maybe many more machines are sold with out loaders. The fuel filter is no prize either. Hydraulics are ok and the fill holes are ok with an automatic transmission funnel.
Are the bigger machines easier to reach?

Things are a little tight in there, aren't they? Just be glad you didn't buy a class I; they really suck to service. Best advise I can give is to change the fuel filter while the engine oil filter is off.

I have a tc2320 (TC45DA) which is the next size up. It was not as bad accessing the filters as what you described. The worst was the fuel filter ring. Not a lot of room to get a tool around it to twist off.

I just did my 50 hr oil change at 33 hrs on my TC34DA with the loader on. It took me about 5 times as long as it takes on any other machine I have. BTW, I bought 6 NAPA filters for 5.00 and change each. My dealer gets 10.00 and change. I bought all the other fluid and air filters too at a little over half the cost of the dealer price. The dealer will probably tell you OEM filters are better but my belief is Napa filters are just as good. Again, thats my opinion.

I don't have any problems on my TC-24D, but one thing I discovered on the fuel filter is to remove the entire mounting bracket (just one bolt) and then you have the whole assembly in your hand to easily take off the ring and replace the filter. For the 300 hr service with full fluid change, I also jack up the rear and take off the rear tire to get at the HST filters. The way I look at it, if its tough to get at by hand, then its tough for a stick or debris to find its way into them too!

I used a very large channel lock it's the same size as the Dealer used for my fist 5o hr oil change.

It reaches in and frees it up with no effort the rest I do by hand since it so loose.
