I found a cheap enclosure for us 2320 2520 guys for winter

Just got off the phone with Jimmy myself. Very nice guy. Should be here Monday for my 2320 - I'll report back on the installation and whether it's worth it. Thanks very much, BlackRaptor, for bringing this to my attention. I'm almost excited for snow!

Glad I was able to forward on some info that was useful for some people

I decided I'm going to order it to. the ROPS are the same on the 2320 and 2520 so I know the width the cab uses is the same and the floor area is totally different but takes up the same space so I think the tiny bit of modding i'll do is worth not being out in hte blowing wind driving between farm sites.

Thanks for the heads up! I contacted "Jimmy" and found out they have them for 4110's as well. Mine should be here Wednesday.

Stupid question:

Why would Plexiglass be any better than Lexan. All the windows
are hard lexan, right?

Plexiglass / Lucite are brand names for acrylic.
Lexan / Calibre / Makrilon / Tristar are brand names for polycarbonate.

polycarbonate has increased strength and impact resistance over acrylic. It also costs more. They can both be tinted and coated for scratch resistance. Polycarbonate can be "bullet-proof" at thicknesses that match projectile. Just don't throw acetone at it.

I'm looking for a cab solution for my 2520, too. My shed with tall door so I don't have to fold the ROPS won't be ready this year. Garage door is too short.

The cab enclosure came today. It took three hours to assemble an put on (I had help from a buddy for part of the time). It can be installed by one person, but it is a lot easier if there is someone there to hold a few pieces now and then. I went to take some pics, and my batteries died after the first pic. I will attach it and take some more tomorrow.

Me too, minus the assistance. I'll write up the experience in another thread, as I also put the plow together.
