I found a cheap enclosure for us 2320 2520 guys for winter

The cab enclosure came today. It took three hours to assemble an put on (I had help from a buddy for part of the time). It can be installed by one person, but it is a lot easier if there is someone there to hold a few pieces now and then. I went to take some pics, and my batteries died after the first pic. I will attach it and take some more tomorrow.

Cool, thanks for posting-I look forward to seeing more.

What are your thoughts on quality and durability? Will it fold flat for storage?

This angle shows how much lower the cab height is compared to the ROPS - which would be handy if my garage door was just 2" higher. As it is, I can't park it inside when the cab is on. The ROPS can still be folded, but it adds rigidity to the cab frame when fully assembled.

Why couldnt you take the top of the ROPS off and take it to a welding shop or cut it off 3" and reweld it. I know liability but I have never heard of anyone being suied for this yet . V

It is fairly well made. I think the materials are quite durable, and they send along all the cutouts in case you do something stupid and put a tear in it or whatever. Would be simple to patch. It wouldn't fold flat unless you disassembled it, but the sides (all four) could come off quite easily and leave the frame and roof on. Of course, if we have a summer like we had this year, I'll probably leave it all on!!!:D

Bxowner, your 2320 looks like it's ready for some serious plowing. Of course that means that it won't snow this winter.
Could you comment on your plow modifications. Does those position whips and what looks like a overflow plate really help. And by the way, what do they call those whips? I went searching for them and had no luck because I couldn't think of their name.

vetteman - No need to cut the ROPS for me, as it doesn't even clear with the ROPS folded and the cab in place. If I were to try to cut down the cab height, it would mess up the sizing of the soft material, not to mention it would take a long time, as there must be 8 upright bars to support the top.

ragkar - I bought the plow itself used. It's a "Snowbear" - so it had the overflow edge and what they call blade guides already in place. I used to have a Snowway on a Chevy 1500 and had to replace the guides:

In reality, there's not going to be much need for the overflow, as I have no intention of moving quickly. It was handy on the Snowway/truck combo, because in soft snow, you could drive 15-20 MPH and let it fly! But the edge guides should prove handy at night.

And, as they say, "time is money." So, you're exactly right - with all of this investment (chains + plow + cab comes in at $2650), it won't snow... So I won't have to spend any time cleaning up!

I'll be a bit before I get a picture up. The Green Dealer called and apologized for not having enough in stock (2305's) and gave me $50 off and free shipping if I still wanted it. I did and it's supposed to ship around thanksgiving week.

I'll post pics once I get it on. I'm actually hoping it's a little lower than the rops. I have a 'cool cap' with a heavy steel mount that I'll leave on if the canopy clears it. will look funny but I'll have to see when I get it.
