The tractor from the front of the FEL to the back of the rear tires is 11 feet. The mini is 6 feet from the pusher blade to the back of the tracks I guess that means at least 17 feet is required but then there is the boom dipper and bucket on the mini that needs to be tucked in somewhere. The tractor is 50 inches wide. Perhaps the mini bucket can ride beside the tractor if the trailer bed is wide enough??? Or the FEL can hang out the back and the mini bucket can ride on the trailer tongue???

Since you already have both machines, put them together in the yard in different configurations, remembering the chains have to go somewhere. Then take your measurements.

Local laws may vary, but some states don't like to see stuff "hanging out the back."
Might want to check on that...

We hauled a Kubota 3750 and NH TC30 on a 18+5 deckover tag along. A little of the NH was on the dove, an the bucket on the 'bota was on the tongue. We towed this with a 6.0 gas Chevy 3/4 with 4spd. The trailer has brekes on both axles. Also, the ramps on this trailer do not fold down to deck level, so the stand up on end.

I didn't say it would lessen the tongue weight. A WD hitch will transfer or more evenly distribute the tongue weight to the entire tow vehicle so all the weight isn't just on the rear of the tow vehicle.

Most of the fixed/tilt decks I've seen have extra steel for the hinge assy and the hydraulic ram both of which are towards the rear of the trailer. The GVW is the same as a conventional deckover or bobcat, empty weight is higher.

Chevy's 5.3 with automatic is rated to tow 7k. The 6.0 ups it to a little over 10k. It's a close call. In some states, you're not legal even hooking up to a
10K trailer with your rig, even if the trailer was empty.

try it a couple of times on a local trip. If everything fits on the trailer and does so safely use it, but understand it may cost you $75 if you piss off the wrong cop. as this week in springfield they were giving tickets for not have 2 tie downs on every item on the trailer including the extra bucket.
