Snow Lots of snow to move

All I know is when I finally do have the money to buy a tractor with a cab I'm going to. I'll do it with no hesitiation and I won't feel bad doing it.

Because by then I'll have paid the piper going on an open tractor in 20 below winds long enough.

I know exactly what I'm missing, it's splattered on the sides of the cab at the end of each snow run.

we've had -30 to -40 C deg temps here(canadian prairies) for the past couple weeks and i'm certain, if my 3320 didn't have the cab, it wouldn't be getting much use!

Have you seen the 27 pager on the aesthetics of the Kubota loader welds? Folks must be spending a lot of time indoors.

Today it's 19 degrees with 35 MPH winds. The snow is drifting to about 2'. I love it!!

You guys with cabs don't know what you are missing. In a world of heated and air-conditioned everything, it just feels good to bundle up and do a little battle with the elements. The sting of the wind driven snow on your face makes you feel alive! And a hot cup of coffee afterwords never tasted so good.

Growing up on the farm in high school I used a 4020 with heat housing - never had a little tractor and loader. Post college till last winter I had a 4450 2wd with 7000 hours a heater that sucked. This year nice 6415 and 673 loader and 3520 cab and loader and coffee never tasted so good!!! I know what you mean though - taking a harley on a poker run when it is cloudy and 48 degrees is also invigorating.....mmmmm....haaaarleeeyy....

Hello Killer_B-

I purchased JD 2520 in SEPT 08. I have 6 acres and a large concrete driveway. I purchased a 5' rear blade (still waiting for skid shoes to be delivered) and to be honest, it's just not working that well to clear the drive of snow. Can you please give me the details on your front blade? What brand, how does it angle and an approximate cost of the same? Also, please let me know how you feel the front blade works as I need to find a better solution to my problem. Thanks,

I live in central ny we get an average of 150 to 200'' of snow a year I bought a 54'' front quick hitch blade for my 2305 and just converted it to 72''. however I also have a 47'' quick hitch front blower thats the ultimate solution in my opium for moving snow it only takes 5 minutes to switch over. The only time I use the plow is if the snow is to slushy to blow.The quick hitch blower set up was around 2500 dollars I believe.
