New BX25LB-R

First dealer came back with $17800 delivered with a full tank of gas! I'm trying to set up a demo now to be certain this small looking beast can really do everything I need it to. Doesn't a 3-Point Hitch come standard with this model? Seems like it would since it has the backhoe but I thought I saw somewhere that it was an option? Hope to get the deal done this week (Merry Christmas to me!!) and take advantage of the financing. Has anyone heard of any new specials or Kubota promotions for next month?
No
They used to but Kubot did away with them as being standard starting with that model .

the financing deals seem to be going on year round now. i wouldn't worry too much about them going away in the current economy.

the best strategy for getting a good price is probably to shop around and play the dealers against each other (in a friendly way - don't forget you're hoping for a long term relationship here!)

one other way to possibly save money is to buy in a neighboring state and have them "deliver" to you so you don't pay sales tax up front. this is something you would then take up with your accountant at a later date. of course, if you want to finance the tax, this won't work.

my advice and what i personally did, is just buy the TLB and mower and finance it all together. (also get the the 3pt hitch if it's really an "option" now as you can't get it anywhere else) make the best possible deal you can, put no money down (it's zero % interest, right?) and pull the trigger. make sure you have insurance through your homeowners or business policy as kubota financing will want proof it's covered. get the tractor home, then shop around for the best deal on each implement. i don't think i've ever found the best deal on two different attachments at the same place. plus, you can always check ebay and craigslist for stuff you need and you might get lucky...

shopping for things to go with the tractor is half the fun in my opinion. don't blow your whole ride at one place up front!

just some things to consider....

That's what I thought on the 3 point. I just got a quote of $199 for it. Sound about right? And yep, still offering 0% on the financing. I remember seeing some posts here about Kubota requiring flood insurance on the tractor and asking quite a bit for coverage thru them. Mine will only be used on my property and I'm no where near a flood area. In fact that's why I moved here from Galveston - 1 week (luckily) before Hurricane Ike hit! Anybody have any experience with that?

I'm not in a flood area and Kubota did not require flood insurance .

Pulled the trigger! New BX25 to be delivered Monday. Final price breakdown:
BX25LB-R with 54"MMM - $17600
Chain Hooks welded on FEL - $0
3 Point Hitch - $100
Land Pride 48" Rear Rotary - $900
Land Pride 48" Box Blade - $400

Grand Total $19000 delivered with a full tank of gas. No Tax - Ag Exempt

Went ahead and got the Kubota Insurance - $640 for the entire 48 month financing period - 0% interest on everything with 15% down. Could have gone 42 months with 0 down. I forgot to add the Mulch Kit on the MMM. Does anyone have an opinion on that? I think it is a dealer installed option and I'm sure I can get it added for a reasonable price (free would be great!). Dealer is also a Stihl rep and I need a chainsaw too. Hope to get a 250CB-E saw for around $300 thrown in. Will post photos of the new baby when she arrives! Thanks to everyone out there for all the great info. It sure made my decision a lot easier.
