I have been working on a "new to me" trailer for the last month and I'm just about finished up after getting some angle iron welding on the back to keep the ramps from sliding off.

I'm down to trying to find an easy access place to mount the ramps.

I'd rather not bend all the way down and have to drag the ramps out of racks welded under the deck and I don't want to have to throw them into the back of the truck.

If you guys have come u with a good way to attach ramps to your trailers please post a picture or two.

Thanks in advance!

Hinge them so they fold up perpendicular to the trailer deck and then chain them so they stay in place while in transport.

No ramps is one thing I like about my 8 foot tilt bed trailer.

If you aren't loading too much weight-this might work. If you have something heavy to load, then legs could be added to the ramps to carry the load.

I have legs on the back of my ramps, but I don't think you can see them. I have had over 6000 lbs on the ramps so far.

Can you make a holder on the sides of the trailer so they are mounted vertically, one per side? A quick pin can be used to hold them in place.

J_J. I will be hauling our Hinomoto E232 with a FEL and a shredder on the back
and it's a 16ft trailer so I don't think I can have the fold up ramps

I do like the leg on the ramps you have but that would be too heavy for me and my bad back unless I attached them permanantly.

It will have to be a bracket or rack of some kind.

I thought about laying across the tongue but that puts me carring them back to the rear each cycle.
