Foton: Instal an inline filter on hydrolics

I have never seen an expanded view. Are they spool valves or Orings? Have you had one open?

Probably can't help you much there. I have a two spool Dinoil brand joystick controller on my Koyker 160. Only other one I ever tinkered on was a two stick controller on a Ford 4000, but never actually disassembled it.

I think your best friend during this process will be a wife or buddy with clean hands and a digital camera. Have them take notes and tons of pictures as you disassemble it and keep things clean and in order.

I just got an Email from a mecanic: Re:Foton 254 plumbing. A hose goes directly from the hydraulic pump to the joystick on the loader, form there a hose goes to the distribution valve. Richard

The tach wasn't working. I removed the pickup and cleaned it. It had been touching the flywheel. It works now, thats nice.

With the tractor off screw it in by hand till it touches the flywheel then back it off 1/4 to 1/2 turn and lock it down with the jamb nut. This will get it in spec.

Thanks I had no idea, I could see it had been draging. I backed it out by guessamation. Nice to see it working though. Later I went down to pull the instrament palel out and ping pang ting. There were two little clips on side screws, the panel was held on them by wing nuts. I'll see if I can get them in tomorrow without taking the fuel tank out.

OK! Here they come. This is how the hydraulic are hooked up.

The steel line on the left is coming into the valve from the pump. The exiting line on the right is going to the remote valve on the floor next to the operators seat.

You can see the two hosed going back to the auxillary valve from the FEL valve. The valve handle has been wired back so the valve on the FEL can be used. On the second picture,above, you can see the slobber solder on the right hand steel line just below the banjo fitting, I'm guessing there may have been a fitting where the FEL valve intake hose was attached.
