Is every winter this extreme for you up there or is this out of the ordinary??
On the 110tlb could you rig up some sheets of clear plastic to the 4 post rops and use a small electric heater to keep somewhat warm??
That's one of the great things about Alaska in winter -- it's dark most of the day. Got less than 4 hrs sunlight right now. So, heck most camera shots wouldn't come out and even the neighbors can't see what you're up too... (Not that many of 'em are out roamin' around the woods at -30F.)
This is unusual to be hangin' on like this for so many days straight. Happened a handful of years in the 32yrs I've lived up here. (Like 2 out of every 10 years.)
If I decide to hang onto the 110 - I'm gonna get a Laurin (sp?) cab on it. I looked into it when I was researching a new machine but the CFO would've jumped off a cliff at another $7-8K!!
Minus 32F yesterday and it warmed up to -30F this morning... HEAT WAVE! No go on the tractor yesterday (only tried once) but I've got it plugged in and the battery charger on it today -- so, she should go.
