Hey All,

I am wondering - what CUTs if any have front and rear PTOs and 3 point hitches both ends? (As options)

I see for example the CK25 Kioti has front and rear PTOs standard (the pdf brochure says so) with an optional mid PTO. That seems to me a lot of PTOs for a 25hp engine. I don't recall mention of a front 3 point though.

An edit: As an aside do any companies have a jingle that can beat this one?

Just curious I don't have one but was looking.

I don't think you're going to find a front PTO unless you go to a Versatile Bi-directional.

Not true. Look at MF, all options over here now, from 5400 series and up. Also, I know of a T7060NH, and a 7930JD with front 3PT & PTO.

Frankly, it is about time they are over here, been around in Europe forever.

Hey All,

WilliamBos Exactly right! I simply cannot understand the sheer lack of innovation in tractors sold into the American market. It's as if there is a time warp over America that dictates that a tractor has to look and operate like Grandpa's tractor from the 40s/50s/60s only put a cab on it so I'm comfortable.

I grew up on Fords 8n, golden jubilee, Farmalls M and H, Case (I forget the model) MM and a small Deere. I bought a 98 NH with about 95hp for a place I worked at 6 or 7 years ago. I know those tractors and when I get on an American market tractor today it's no different just a few more bells whistles power and comfort. Where are the advancements? Disappointing when you look at Europe and in my opinion particularly Valmet. However those tractors are bigger than I want.

I'm well aware of the Versatile as I have driven a Ford 9030 and loved the utility of it but it is bigger than I want. I did see a John Deere with apparently reverse steer and a big honeybee draper header on it swathin barley north of Oyen Alberta once - five six years ago. It was far enough out in a field I've no idea what model it was.

The point is I'm still amazed that tractors shipped into the US don't offer the front and rear pto and 3 point. What I would really like is a CUT weighing about 3500+ lbs with front and rear pto and 3 pt and about 85 to 100 hp. Small heavy duty frame with big power to run the ptos.

What tractor maker has been innovative enough to make it?

PS That Montana song is catchy - do any other tractor makers even have a jingle?

Hey All,

So I may have to backtrack a bit on my complaints about lack of front pto and 3 pt.

It seems many tractor companies will install this system as an option.

Frontlinkage en Front PTO Systems - Zuidberg Frontline Systems

If you cruise around this site on the products and photos pages you can either select make and model or a picture to see what all these systems are offered on. Pretty surprising range of tractors from what I can tell.

I've no idea what these systems cost but it sure makes sense to consider this option for a tractor purchase.

I certainly will be keeping in mind the ability to do this when I pick out a tractor. I've been thinking about front and rear disc mowers but there are lots of opportunities in terms of snowblowers, other mowers, sweepers, etc.

PS No jingles yet?

That is a Dutch :) company. MF, JD, NH have optional front 3pt, and they are either Zuidberg or Laforge systems.

Hey All,

Zuidberg is Dutch and I looked at the LaForge site but didn't find anywhere a list of what tractors they have their system available for although it appears to be large tractors. Zuidberg at least has a way for you to know. This helps alot if your shopping and interested in this application and cuts a whole lot of tractors right out of consideration. Unfortunately there is still no way to know what tractors are compatible with what due to commonality of construction/parts - bummer.

PS Having a He__ of a time getting that jingle outta my head.

I didn't know front 3 pt. was so common. I like the idea. I would also like to see a CUT of maybe 35HP, 3500#, with a quick attach loader, front and rear PTO, front and rear 3 pt. That would make for a great machine. It would be more versatile than anything I found in my shopping search.
