And the point of the above 2 post?

I thought since the other 2 guys mentioned they had a BX23 it would be ok for me to do the same.
Guess not as I must not have the same rights/privileges.

The OP was not asking a roll call of who had them but more useful information from those with experience to give the pro's and cons of the models. I'm am sure that you have more valuable information related to the knowledge of the model that you have. This could be a very intresting thread.

I had a BX23. I had problems with a sticky HST pedal. No amount of gease or lube completely fixed it. I believe this was a common problem for the BX23. The BX24 and BX25 have a higher 3 point hitch which is an advantage in giving more lift height with implements.

Mine has that too...Just a little annoying, not an international crisis...Gonna try to adjust it and see what happens. I think there's a way to change the tension on it.

BX24 owner here.
BX24 pros - 3 pt hitch included, no metal fenders/hood to rust, cheaper then BX25

BX24 cons- abrupt stop, fenders/hood can crack (cant fix - if metal you can weld it.) cant move hydralics at idle when working on hookups or something and dont want to rev up engine while warming up.

overall - I love my bx24. I like the front hood look over the BX22/23 version. The BX25 is pretty much the same.

I'm surprised to hear that the 3pt is now an option with the BX25. I can see getting a tractor without a 3pt hitch unless it's to be a dedicated TLB or a dedicated lawn mower. But, if it reduces the price for someone who doesn't want it, then no harm.

As for the plastic (I have a BX24), I can see the advantage of having one less thing to rust or dent. Also, when you're new on the tractor and you do some swift move like lifting the loader too high and dumping stone all over the hood, you'll be glad that nothing dents. But, the plastic also makes you feel like you're driving a toy.

For the abrupt reverse stop, it hasn't been a problem for me. I put the tractor in low range when I'm backing up, which is a bit annoying. But, I rarely have it in high range. So, for me personally, it's not an issue, but this all depends on your individual usage, of course.

I have found all this interesting (even the "and the point of the post was...."). It was an accurate view that I was seeking info more than taking a poll of model ownership. I think this is an interesting thread topic and have no problem if it continues. I think I am done in my decision process other than finalizing any details and will follow this and my other post about "Looking for quick feedback...." with a new thread once everything is completely done detailing how the path went and what it led to.
