Hi All,

I am just wondering as I love TBN (Thanks Muhammad!), have been here for yours and want to see how far reaching the TBN site is to people who have purchased their machine.

How long did you research TBN prior to your purchase?

Did you find TBN info to be a determining factor when you purchased?

Have you referred friends to TBN that then made a tractor purchase?

Just curious as I send lots of people here for research.

This is good info for TBN to know as well for their advertising efforts.

I used tbn to do my research, I found Wallace tractor through the site and called him for advice, which I got.

I use the site almost daily for much guidance, such as implement selection, tractor upgrade advice, and general good times.

This site is an awsome resource.

Yeah, I too thank Muhammad and the mods for their excellent work on here.

I PM'd MASSEY DEALER many many many times, and from his advice and talking to others, we bought our 1523. The only regret I have is not being able to actually buy from MASSEY DEALER. He was so helpful and patient. I would love to support many on here who dedicate time to offer advice and help us out.

And I have gladly given honest info about our tractor to those who have asked. Any little I can offer to help out others, I will gladly do.

Thanks to all.

No. I saw my tractor in an online auction, bid and won at the last minute. I had a good idea of values from shopping but not on this particular model. It wasn't until later that I used TBN and other online references and found out what a great buy I got. It wasn't until I got the tractor home that I found out that I got a super great buy as it had been maintained in pristine condition mechanically and had many new parts. The paint is faded and there's a few dings in the sheet metal but it's like new otherwise.

I used TBN for a lot of research.

Decided I wanted either an L39 or a 110TLB.

Then I visited dealers and made my choice.

I used TBN for research.

First for learning about the various alternatives in my price bracket. (Cheap! Essentially the Ford 8N and its smaller alternatives, including gray market and Chinese models.)

Then the day I located my Yanmar, I looked it over then spent all afternoon on TBN trying to determine if this orphan was still adequately supported, and was one of Yanmar's better models. I became convinced it is the best supported of any Yanmar (in the US) and that in addition to Yanmar still stocking an active warehouse in the US, this model is well suported by the gray market parts vendors who advertise and post here. I went back the same day and bought it. He took more calls while I was there, and said he could have sold it several times over the weekend before I picked it up on Monday.

My research on TBN helped me make the quick decision I needed to make at the time, on a model I never heard of before that day. And the information was correct - I've had five troublefree years on this antique after the week or so I spent getting it set up. Thanks TBN, and thanks to the Yanmar Forum regulars.

Yes, I used TBN for research, and now use it daily for learning more.... also enjoy helping out when, in my limited tractor experience, I actually have some knowledge to share. I was very happy to find the site! Great group of people, well moderated.

I found TBN while searching for tractor information online. This sight had a tremendous amount of influence on my decision. I probably would have bought a tractor from a dealer I wasn't comfortable with had it not been for TBN. I can't tell you how much easier it made my tractor purchase knowing that there was this vast wealth of knowledge out here. After gaining some more experience I hope to contibute to it more:D
