Price Check Need Some help choosing a tractor and Pricing

I believe the B series does offer a quick attach bucket option. Most grapple mfg's make them for a standard quick attach loader only.

FYI
The LA304 and LA364 loaders for the B2320, B2620, and B2920 do NOT have the quick attach bucket option.

yep... just found out the B series does not have quick attach bucket. I don't see myself really needing to put anything than the loader on the front anyway.

with that being said...I DID IT!! I BOUGHT ONE! Let me tell you guys how it all went down. I was headed for the BX25 and the dealer had me try out a slightly used BX24 with only 24 hours on it. I about snapped my neck when I was in reverse and stopped. Going forward and stopping wasn't an issue but in reverse, ouch. I tested out the BX25 and wasn't impressed with the feel of it but when I started to play around with the backhoe - wow. It had some nice power.

I realized I would really need a tiller too, with all the gardening, green houses etc I have going on here so with the BX25 plus tiller, the price was getting up there. Then I went over to the 2620 and........fell in love :) I just loved the feel of the larger tires and could see myself doing a lot of future projects with it. So, I went with the B2620 (Loader, Mid mount mower, and Tiller!) It's being delivered tomorrow! I'll let you guys know how I like it.

Thanks so much for helping me come to this decision. :)

My B2320 was delivered last week just when the weather turned really cold. I've had it out a few times now playing around with it and I think that your really going to like yours. Congratulations and have fun!

I hope you realize at least three good pictures of the tractor are required !!

LadyLooking: congrats on your new purchase!!! I'd love to have a B2620, but on my little 1 acre property, I definitely can not justify the expense. I thought I'd have a hard time justifying the B7100, although, I keep finding uses for it. I've but 70 hours on it since last July, and 22 hours on he gear drive B7100 that I owned from May until July.

Congratulations LL. I was just up at the dealer the morning for non-tractor stuff and I was sitting on a B2620 and had similar sentiments. Maybe someday, but my BX is not even broken in yet. Anyway, I did check and the B2630 and B3030 do offer the quick attach buckets, but I guess Kubota doesn't offer that yet in the B2x20 series. You could still mount a claw to the top of your bucket though, but you would need another hydraulic circuit to run it.

Hummmm - not sure I would totally subscribe to the statement the B series does not come with a quick attatch bucket. I just brought home my new B2920 last weekend and it has what is called a B1658 Quick Coupler on the loader arms (see pic) - the manual states it is for a LA504 but my B2920 can right from the factory with it.

Funny but I was provided with a manual for this specific option - and in it it states --- "The B1658 Quick Coupler is desighed to be used with the LA504 Loader and is compatible with the B1625 54 inch Bucket, B1626 60 Inch Bucket and B1659 Pallet Forks".

If this isnt a option on the B's than maybe someone at the factory goofed - but I doubt it. I'd go back to your dealer and ask if the B1658 is a option on the LA364 loader. Heck - show him (see pic) :D

By the dealer price book, it doesn't list the LA304 and LA364 as having the QA option. But thanks to you, I now know that it's possible.
Kubota is probable concerned with the added distance of the bracket on this size tractor if I had to guess. I believe that there are alot of these instances that are like this with Kubota in regards to attachments fitting other items other than what our books tell us. Thank you for the information.

I thought I saw a pic somewhere of the pin-type QA on the little B. Must have been a pic of your new machine, Jambx.

My L3240HST had the quick attach bucket. It was the skid steer type quick attach. 2 big levers pulled up near top of bucket on the back which pulled the 2 round pins with a tapered end up out of a catch plate on the bottom of the bucket and bucket comes off. My new B3200 has what's called the quick attach bucket. Rear top of bucket has the lip to catch at the top but the small pins pull loose at the bottom as shown in the earlier picture. I had a B7800 and the bottom of the bucket had big round rods that had to be driven out of the bottom and then driven back in. Extremely difficult to do alone. People are using the terminology of quick attach as all being the same. They are not. The skid steer QA is the easiest one and can be used with other skid steer attachment plates. I had the skid steer QA plates welded to my forks but when I got my new B3200 the forks won't work on it. I traded the old forks to Barlows for new ones that attach to my bucket.
