Woods RM990.... a long wait.

I had my dealer order a RM990 from Woods 3 weeks ago. When I ordered my DS-96 rotary cutter from Woods it took 10 days to arrive. So I figuered it was going to to take about the same amount of time.......wrong.

My dealer spoke with a Woods rep yesterday and was told that I should get my RM990 next week, about a month after I ordered it. Woods said that they have received a LARGE number of orders for RM990's and that is what has caused the delay.

Hopefully if anyone is looking for one your dealer will have one in stock.

I hope it's worth the wait!

I've had mine for a couple of years now. It's the best possible machine that will give you a finish cut yet can still be used as a bush hog due to it's hinged blades. I can't believe that there aren't others copying the design yet. It's simple yet extremely effective and durable.

Agreed. I found mine at the back of the lot at work; they thought so little of it that it wasn't on inventory. The previous owner had us take it away just to get rid of it when he took delivery of his new RM 990. Blades, a belt and grease is all I have given it for 5 years. They are a truly remarkable mower.
