I think I like this answer best!

I just took a quick glance at the JD 2320 specs... It is a bit down on lift capacity at full height, but up on boom breakout force, bucket rollback force, loader lower, and bucket dump specs.I'm sure NH and Kubota have some favorable numbers on their tractors too.
People buy tractors for different reasons. The criteria they set as important to them might not be important to someone else. That is why people buy different makes, brands, attachments, etc., etc.
not to be a jerk, but what you bought won't lift 1000lbs. You fell pray to a creative marketing technique where the measurements are taken behind the bucket. The real world capacity is about 750lbs in the bucket.
I laugh reading some of this thread. I owned a Kubota and loved it. It was solid and never had a lick of problems. I just bought a 2305 JD and LOVE it as well. For me, I can't compare the 2nd tier tractors to Kubota or JD. Price wise, New Holland was as high as JD or Kubota. JD service wise around here is king, so I leaned more towards JD. Comparing JD quailty to Kioti seems foolish though. I just don't like the looks of Kioti either. No offense to everyone here that has them. They just look like a cheap gray tractor to me.
Hmm, truthfully, I felt the same way about the JD's after leaving the JD dealer, they just seemed "cheap" and flimsey, way to much plastic for my liking.
Or maybe it was the made in China proofs on some of the castings ?
Are not the JD CUT's just rebadged Yanmars ?? (JD790)
I spent over 2 years figuring out what tractor I wanted, after 15 years of owning/operating larger equipment, Kioti/Bobcat quality is 2nd to none in the CUT market.
