I learned the hard way today WHY one should remove the MMM on their B series when driving in rocky, or rough terrain. I was up on my hilly area and somehow despite being in L range ran into a rock hidden in the grass and bent the rt side of the mower pretty badly. Hit the rock with the right frt height adjustment wheel. Bent the bracket and wheel in about 45 degrees.
To add insult to injury I found that removing the mower is NOT very tough or time consuming at all! Removed it , turned it over and surveyed the damage. I'm thinking I may be able to use a few 2x4's and a bottle jack...and push things back into place.
Worse comes to worse I have a buddy with a garage and a Porta-Power system for frame straightening, etc. THAT should work.
I am so pissed at myself for being STUPID and damaging the tractor. Live and LEARN I guess.
