I believe she's sold. If for some reason the deal doesn't go thru, I'll PM you. It is supposed to be picked up in about 3 weeks.
Thanks for asking...Kyle

I have an Aerway, it's my business. (Pasture Aeration)
It's pretty **** cool, esp out here where it's just solid hard pack clay.
Goes as deep as the compaction lets it. (first pass can be as little as 2", but come back 90 days later and it's down to 5" and another 90 days and it's down to the full 8")
it's not a straight tine, it twists as it pulls so it "shatters" the ground, but it's perfectly fine for putting animals back on it.
I talked with the factory a while.
7 PTO HP per foot of Aerway,
DO NOT ADD extra weight, he said you'll break the frame, it's designed to take the weight it has on it. I have the water fill option (so i can truck it around) and full up, the 5' model weighs like 1800lbs.
It needs some front weight to run right, it's a little front end light when it's full up, even with the FEL. You can' tturn with it in the ground.
It does amazing things for the soil though.
Oh, things are outrageously expensive. a 5' is about 4 to 5 grand. 8' pull type is about 7 grand.
works great when overseeding too.
Your comments on Minnesota use might be comparing 'apples' to 'oranges'. The effect renovation might have is highly Dependant on many complicated and often misunderstood factors. Here in the south, there is considerable movement toward 'greener' ways of handling Mother Earth. Years of misuse has left much of the soil in a 'compromised' condition, and renovation is one of the many ways proven successful in restoring a balance to the system Mother Nature used for thousands of years.
i.e. - It may or may not work for you, but it does work for many people trying to use the 'less is more' approach.
Thanks for posting, I've seen all the rain you guys have been getting. It has rained within a few miles of here but NOTHING HERE...It has been a month now since I renovated the 3 acre strip that was very weak in the hay pastures.
....I am really impressed with the results !
...There isn't a noticeable difference in growth through the pasture now,,, but we have had almost perfect rainfall for the past couple of weeks.
I am convinced that a thorough renovation of the entire 22 acres this October will make very significant differences in the performance and quality in my hay pastures.
....More when available!!
