Dexter has a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty on their sealed system, that would be very tough to beat. I'd go for them instantly if they were available on a trailer I wanted

The never lube axles are pretty popular in the RV world. I recently got a new 20' car hauler and it has the easy lube axles which I like for the convenience.

In my previous employment, we sold the light duty 5th wheel semitrailers with 1800kg torsion axles: the manufacturer was the only one in this class to use tapered roller bearings: They did try the automotive style cartridge bearings, but on the 1800kg axle they switched back to tapered roller bearings: In the long run, the cartridge ball bearings couldnt handle the cornering of a tandem setup. Tapered roller bearings can take alot more lateral forces.

My oil bath bearings on my boat trailer have been going strong now for 6 years. Never got hot, never leaked. Just a quick glance in the window and you can see the oil.
