Replacing the filters and fluid at 50 hours is just cheap insurance on an Item I spent lots of money on. If I planned on trading this tractor in on a new one in 3 or so years then I wouldnt be so concerned with its longevity, however I plan on keeping it for the duration so I may as well do everything I can to prolong its useful life.

Wouldn't it be "cheap insurance" to change your car oil at every 1000 miles or your SUDT at 25hr's. When does it become stupid and wasteful?
I'm erroring on the side of the planet not my wallet.
And if I planned on trading it in every 3 years I care just as much as if I kept it for 30 years. Because if it really did harm it, killing a tractor isn't good for the planet either.
If oil filter isn't keeping the oil clean at 50hr's then it's faulty. It doesn't turn to liquid metal. Yes clean your screens, magnets and replace filters.
Why do L series do it at 300hr's? Are they built better, do they use better oil, do they filter better? It's because it's shows up as being even more blatantly wasteful.
Apparantly not.....Did kuboto raise 1sr udt change from 50 to 400hrs?
1*The thing you're missing is nobody suggested changing fluids or filters every 50 hours.1*Wouldn't it be "cheap insurance" to change your car oil at every 1000 miles or your SUDT at 25hr's.
2*If a filter isn't keeping the oil clean at 50hr's then it's faulty.
I can't see getting all ranted up over 1 fluid change. If it was a repetitive thing it would then make some sense.Don't change it then...Nobody's forcing you....Dont come whining here when something breaks.
