Nice pics.
When I lived in Trenton, I once looked up from my grass cutting and saw a sight that made me shiver. It was a B52 touching down. I lived about 500 yds from the runway and it was airshow weekend coming up.

Once I was riding my mountain bike on a trail on top of Blue Mountain just east of Harrisburg, PA, when an A-10, doing ground-following training roared up and over the ridge knife-edged (one wing pointed at the ground), at what sounded and felt like full-throttle. Now A-10's are not exactly quite to begin with, but this one was no more than 100-200 ft. above the tree-tops. That sure got my attention.

BTW, this location is close to Fort Indiantown Gap.

Another really impressive thing to see is when the C-5's come up from Dover AFB to do touch-n-go practice at Harrisburg International Airport ( yeh, I laugh too at the "international" part, but they have a 2 mile long runway, and a relatively light amount of traffic, and thus have time available for such activity).

Many years ago my wife and I were driving through that area going towards Hershey, PA. My wife was driving. I looked to my right and through the trees and down a ways I thought I saw the Concord landing at what I think was Harrisburg. :)

Good Afternoon Moss,
OK, finally some up to date, end of driveway shots ! :)

First shot is really nice when there are no leaves on the trees, but not much to look at in this pic, with no leaves, its very scenic with a mountain in the backround !

Looking the other way, is my next door neighbor Ethels' property, and unfortunately the farmer up the road takes in her 20 acres of hay, but this year they cant find three dry days in a row ! :(

Very nice! :)

We are having a wet spring, too. I have only watered my garden a couple of times. I had to turn off the sprinkler system to get things to dry out. No tomato blossoms. Just big green bushy plants!

Oh yeah Moss,
This past weekend we put in the base for yet another flagpole. Got a chance to get the rust off of the post hole auger, and gave the old cement mixer a work out also !

Uncle Dave wanted a flagpole down by his pond, for another American flag and a Marine Corp flag also.... now just gotta wait for the concrete to harden up ! :)

So I'm lookin' at that pond and thinkin' that you had the generator to run the mixer and the pond as a water source. . . . .But wait! There in the last picture is a container with a hose bib attached. Did you haul water to mix with or carry it from the pond? "Enquiring" minds want to know.:)

BTW: Nice job!

Very nice! :D I could use a nice flagpole with lights. But the neighborhoodlums might attempt to damage Old Glory and I couldn't stand it. I'd have to go all American on them and would end up married to some guy named Bubba down at the county lockup. :D:):p

The President was back in town last week. They brought in a large military transport, three Chinook helicopters and two Sea King helicopters as Marine 1 and decoy(I presume). Lost of CHOPPA CHOPPA CHOPPA and WHUMPA WHUMPA WHUMPA overhead but I only got a glimpse of the transport from the end of my drive. Will post later tonight if possible. ;)
