Was the third-function a Kubota item, or another brand? And did you install it yourself or have the dealer do it?

It's a WR Long 3rd function valve, and I had my dealer do the install.

Man that is really nice. I have never had a grapple, does it increase the risk of grille / front end damage from sticks and stuff?

It really looks awesome though, rarrrr! Go get em!

I plan to weld a piece of expanded metal across the back of the grapple to reduce the possibility of a stick/log poking through and hitting the grill or the hyd fittings going to the grapple arm.

I just bought the markham 60 inch Grapple, and I never thought about a stick poking through. Maybe a piece of walkway grating like we use on cat walks at work will do the trick, and keep visability high. I'll let you know.

Thanks, it's about 5.5 acres I have cleared and fenced, the rest of the property outside the fence I have left natural woods with some food plots.

Those are some good pictures. I especially like the Grapple and Valve Kit.

The WR Long kit works well - I have one on L4310 - the only issue I have had is the crimp on one of the hoses went bad after about ten hours...and PAIGE TRACTORS replaced the bad hose - and paid for half the cost of the other line as well. If you are in Central Texas - check out PAIGE TRACTORS in PAIGE, TEXAS for your WR. Long items.

Your grapple set up looks great - I built my own and on the grill I welded class 1 intergrated safety grate (pricey but worth it).

Look around steel yards / scrap yards - you may find it. I never worry about brush now - as the the spacing is 1 inch by 3 inch rectangle shape.

Good luck with your new grapple.

I'm getting ready to purchase the W R Long OBG but not sure which size to get, 48" or 56". 56" has two grapples -vs- one grapple for the 48".
Tractor is a Bobcat CT230. Is wider better if the tractor will handle it. 56" grapple is 460 lbs. Opinions please.
