BX2360 - FEL & MMM on at the same time

Reading throught the Kubota literature they made it sound like the BX25 was the only BX that you could use the FEL & MMM simultaneously. Is that true?

Can you have them both on the BX2360 at the same time?

Yes you can have them both on at the same time. If I'm doing alot of endloader work I like to take the deck off. I always assumed that on other Kubotas that you could also leave the deck on, such as the B's and the L's series tractors, but I'm not sure.

By "on" meaning mounted on. From my discussion with kubota service rep, it's basically a precaution that they do not want you to leave the loader mounted while mowing for obvious reasons. And the caution is that if you use the loader, you may run a risk of damaging the mower by big rocks, stumps, etc.

By "on" meaning running... I can't come up with a scenario where you would actually need that combination however, the explanation I was given was that it will be a matter of how the hydraulics are divided and thus, you're going to lose power from one or the other.

From personal experience with my FEL and BH on there, if I were to ever get a MMM for my BX24, the FEL and BH are definitely coming off since I've knocked into many things during there normal usage.

I only asked this question because I will be transporting the tractor to another location and wanted everything on when I get to the other location. I can take the loader off when I get there to mow or remove deck if i want to do the FEL work. I just didn't know if there was some reason why you couldn't have them both on at the same time.

They can both be on at the same time. I have moved mulch around the yard with the MMM mounted. For the BX, it can actually help protect that pesky HST cooler fan. Having said that, the mower comes off so easily that it's just a few minutes extra effort to remove.

I put my MMM and mow with the FEL on alladamtime. Ain't sayin it's smart, but I do it. All BX's will do it.

The controversial configuration is mowing with the BH on, which I don't do. On the BX23 the 3ph interferes with the BH footplate. Can't say about the other models.

Agreed, you can have both on and you can mow with the FEL, though if you aren't careful you can clip something. Yes, you need to be careful with your deck while using a FEL, but I have done both for six years on my BX2200 and BX2660. Heck, I am using my 2660 with FEL, MMM and 48" Land Pride rotary cutter right now.
