Can someone tell me what engine oil came in my B2920? I want to stick with the same stuff. I'm a little low and only have 20 hrs. Thanks

I would guess that it is a 10W40 but that is only a guess. The dealer might be able to tell you but even they might not be entirely sure.
How much is a little low and has it gone down at all since you took possession of the tractor. If it is only slightly below the full mark and hasn't moved then I wouldn't be the least bit concerned, I usually prefer to run engines slightly below the "full" mark. If the oil level has gone down noticeably in 20 hours that is more of a concern. My previous tractor and the current one were both bought new by me and I did not have to add any oil, in fact could not tell that any oil had been consumed, between oil changes including the first one.
If the tractor is using oil I would speak with the dealer about that to get it on record and then monitor how much oil is being used in case it becomes a warranty issue.

Your owners manual should spec it out for you. Unless theres been a change recently, most all Kubota tractor engines ship w/Kubota branded 10w30 dino oil.

It does spec it out. But I really want to use what ever is already in it sence I have 30 more hours of break in.

Call the dealer and see if they have a special "break-in oil" in there. I know John-Deere uses a special oil in new engines. If it doesn't have a special oil in it (and probably even if it does), if the O.M. calls for 10-30, put 10-30 in it. Whether Kubota branded, Shell Rotella, etc.., just be sure it's diesel rated.

As some of the posters in here have noted, if we saw how engines are treated, and survive, in third world countries, we'd probably worry a lot less about ours. ;)
