That's a good thing. Living in Michigan with all the snow you get you really should spec a Limited Slip or Locking diff for your next truck.

Any idea what that costs nowadays?

Last work I had done was in 2000. It was about $250 for labor to change gears or carrier. Back then, an average limited slip was about $250 too. Lockers/posi's were more, some much much more... I see now days a ring/pinion is running $150-$250

I had changed my old F250 4x from 3.55 to 4.11.

I can not tell you. I did look at Eaton G80 lockers for my Fords Diesels but was turned off when I saw how it worked. I will only buy electric or air lockers. If you really want a locker check out Detroit Lockers. I have them on a Nissan Titan and love them. If you just want to put in a Limited Slip check the junk yards. With Ford selling so many trucks a few have to end up there.

I "think" I could change my gears without changing the differential. I'm fine with the limited slip I have. Just wondering per axle for ring/pinion and labor.

If I got to where I needed lockers, I'd get another Jeep. Probably a flat fender :D
