Why wouldn't it? Its not like Kubota makes the BX23, 24, 25 on a different frame than the 50 or 60 series of the same year. Can't imagine it.
Simple. If the older machines all took the old part number, look it up at Messick site, then all will accept the new part number.

There was a change in the fan guard, there is a Serial Number break, the
new fan guard is slightly larger and will fit the older machines. There is
no provision to provide this for free, you can purchase it from your
dealer.
Part number for the new guard is K2681-21212
Kubota Customer Service
Emailed with Messicks today they don't show any in US warehouse.

The only thing currently available for puchase is the smaller K2581-92120 shown below. 26.99 + freight.
Hopefully from what Jeff was told we can get some in a week or so.
Anyone know what Bro-Tek is getting for there rear skid plate?

That's sad. The older, skinny little old HST fan protector just wasn't much.
Hopefully, someone will actually get the new, new one from parts. Keep us informed. I wouldn't think anyone would get juiced over that old one. Yuk.

They cost $180, I just ordered a front and rear combo along with steering protector.

My B-T rear skid plate was about $180. I think that was shipped but can't recall for sure. Quite a bit more than the new Kubota plate, but also quite a bit more protection.

I can't get juiced over the new one either, just marginally better than the old, still see that little white plastic just waiting for a little twig to knock off all the blades. If I couldn't make one, I'd put that money toward purchasing some real protection for the fan.

I just recieved my bx1860 begining of Oct 2009. It does not have the hst fan protector. I wonder what gives? My engine was made Nov 2008. Someone had this tractor for awhile. I'm calling the dealer. Also my digital readout says 1850 when I start it. I'm starting think I got hosed. What do you guys think?
