Power behind for JD 855

I am interested in adding a tip and tilt function to my 855. The local dealer has provided me with some info on the PB Kit, schematic of which is attached. Has anyone any experience in having added this function to a 55 series CUT. I would appreciate any advice on the installation and mounting of the control valves. Info on sourcing this project would also be helpful. Photos would be great if anyone has them.

All you need from JD it the power beyond plug (#18 in your PDF).

The rest of it can be done with generic hoses and fittings. The 4 work
ports from your 2-spool valve do not have to have QDs if the TnT is
always mounted.

Here is the TnT setup I make for a 955. The valve is a $200 Prince
monoblock 2-spool with power beyond. Since the tractor is so small,
the best place to mount the valve was on the left fender. Another
approach would be a ROPS-mounted valve.

Like Dave said, you can do the "kit" yourself if you learn the terminology and fitting types. There is a wealth of info here on TBN in the Hydraulics forum.

To get you started, look at these posts I linked below-they all have done the same thing you want just on different tractors.

For the valve, you can use a two handles valve like Dave suggested (I can also suggest some others that are a little smaller) or you can use a joystick valve that is very cool for operating a TnT setup. Look HERE at one.

Like I mentioned in your other thread...It will be costly! Nothing about hydraulics is cheap accept advice here on TBN.

Since the new AUX valve has Power Beyond, there has to be an OUT line
to the reservoir. The PB out goes to the 3-pt cyl.

The x55 tractors are unusual in that the implement pump hangs off the
back of the tractor. I removed the large steel IN pipe from the inlet of
the pump and welded a steel barb fitting onto the pipe.

This TnT system I set up was for a 955 that I had sold earlier, and it was
(and is) located in the Sierras. I shipped everything to the owner, with
very detailed instructions for him to install it. I had done the power beyond
loop earlier, however.
