Front-End Loader FEL Plow

hydraulics are all there....this unit is complete. Plug and play! Deal is done....I took it!:)

I meant on the tractor side...You will need a way to control the angle.

You're right Ken.....what unit do i need to do that?

If you have any rear remotes on the tractor, you can take the cheap route like I did. I used a pair of hoses from a rear remote to the front blade. Works great for me.

The cheapest way is to use the bucket curl circuit, the only problem with that is you could get bleed down on the curl cylinders and have to swap hoses back for a second to retract curl cylinders.
That would be a little bit of a PITN, if it were me I would figure a way to prevent the bleed down, with a strap or pin etc.

If you don't foresee the need for other hydraulic applications at the front, then using the curl circuit would be the way to go IMO. basically 2 hoses from your plow to the QD for the loader, swap the curl lines for the plow lines.

The other options like diverters and 3rd SCV are costly, but more professional and can be used for other add ons in the future.

As far as the shorter plow goes, the downside is you will have to make a few more passes, the upside is you will be able to push much deeper/heavier snow.

Good luck. JB.

Thanks guys....I'll tinker with it once i get her home. As for the 5ft size...I'm not worried about that....like JB said, a few more passes makes for quality seat time. Thanks a bunch!

RE: Fel Plow
I live in southern RI, on the CT border, and I have a 5' Curtis fel plow for sale. It is set up for a Kubota B7500. If you are interested, go to craigslist (Rhode Island) and seach for Curtis plow under "farm and garden" to see some pics and info.

Not expecting any more snow in RI? or did you get something else to handle the snow?

:) :)

beenthere,
Oh no, definately expecting more snow (a little tonight in fact), I know better than to jinx us like that. No, even though its an awesome plow and in great shape, I'm selling for several reasons:
1. I don't have a quick disconnect system (about another $300 IF the dealer can get one, they don't think anyone makes one for a B7500), and I need my bucket more than the plow, what a pain!.
2. I didn't realize how expensive the additional hydraulics were going to be.
3. Its a little heavy for my tractor even though its a 5'.
4. I was given a rear blade (even though it isn't as good as the Curtis front plow, its sufficient).
