At Home In The Woods

Hi Obed,

I was just wondering how the trailer was handling the cold weather you guys are getting? The news makes it look like your'e getting hit pretty hard with the cold. Hope you both are keeping warm enough and not having too many problems with things freezing.

Can you find a nicer guy than Cyril? Why do they all move to the left?

Can't we get back to trashing the carpenters in the United States? That usually gets my interest. Let's talk steel shims under joists. and invent some new codes just to confuse the conversation.. Jake
I'm glad for the weekend.

Jake -

Are you trying to catch up to LBrown59's post count or have you been drinking too much coffee?!

Judging by his tone, if its coffee he's drinking, I'd bet that there is a fair amount of alcohol added to it. Some people just like to stir crap up I guess.

is that like alcohol and lol put together? I'm gonna try that a little later..

There, I fixed it for you.

You probably ought to quit mixing things, it seems to have had quite an adverse effect already.

Hey OBED, were you able to think about the advice I given about closing off the bottom of the camper with hay or something to prevent cold air going under there ? I hope you are really not thinking about the torpedo heater you were thinking of for the black tank.

Again, block off the bottom of the camper with foam, wood sides, hay, something that you can find. Put a electric baseboard type heater under there and set it on low near the black tank but not too close to cause it to melt plastic. Be sure you keep checking it every 15 mins until you are satisfied with the heat not hurting the camper floor. with the bottom of the camper closed off, it will warm up like a room and start thawing out the black tank and will warm your floors of camper making it nice to walk on.
