It's important; but not really all that serious. You're not gonna damage your engine or ruin your tractor - going to synthetic after the 50 hr breakin.
Won't happen!
Tractor will run every day after that - likely all the way to 5,000 hrs. without a burp!
I did (50 hr.) cause the next change took me into the winter months. And I didn't want the cold weather start-up issues with dino lubricants in the middle of an Alaskan winter!!
However, JD (after 75 years - or more) surely recognizes that engine failures are; in the majority of cases, due to alot more than whether the break-in oil was at 50 hrs or 100 hrs. Or if synthetic oil was used.
