What country would you live in if you could?

What country would a person move to if it were possible??? First I'd like to experience all of my own country, maybe a year at a time and then move on-wards a year at a time in different parts of the world. I might start with Wein's and then move on to Zermatt. After that it's open.:thumbsup:

For the Falklands perhaps a month would suffice. Spitsbergen perhaps a week.

I'm sorry Egon, I don't speak french. I may see more of the U.S. someday. Canada, its just been Alberta, British Columbia and the Yukon. I did build a couple of homes in Maine up near Camden. Thats just starting to get into your neck of the woods...

Actually, I would rather live in the good old US..A couple of generations ago my people went through an awful amount of misery to get here...There was a reason for that.

Sounds nice Graham. Everything in your profile makes sense except the horse stuff. I have built barns, paddocks and used my tractor many times to pick up those old horizontal horses. To me they look like a double barrel shotgun with a mouth you put money in that they quickly turn to poohballs.

I do enjoy that part of the country. I am also quite sure folks that long ago lived in England, Ireland, Italy etc. could have all shared similar passions to yours.

OK, I see I'm not getting through to some. If an earth quake hit your country and it sunk and you were forced to have to go to another country where on this planet would you and your family including your dog go? If you stay where you are you will drown in salt water.
