What type of quick hitch did you buy and where. I was looking at the HarborFreight one, mine is BX1860, I only have one implement so far is 5' rear blade from Countyline. But I dont want to keep it on tractor all the time. Can you share picture of your quick hitch as well

Thanks
Ganesh

I bought the Landpride QH15. I like it because it has the adjustable top link. They are available through Kubota so your dealer should be able to get you one.
If you go to landpride.com and go to hitches under products it gives you a good picture plus you can look at the instruction manual and parts manual.:)

Going to assemble my 3PH on my new BX25 to use my Box Blade, Landscape Rake and shortly, my tiller. :D Any insight? Shall I buy PATS or not?
Will I run into any fit issues? JT? :D

I don't think you'll run into any fit issues other than you may have to get a different longer drive shaft and longer upper arm for the tiller. That's why I sold my Pat's and went for the cheaper ones from Ebay that let the implement sit on top of the QH instead of setting the implement several inches further back. QH's are the only way to go in my opinion, not the single piece ones unless you only have one implement that the single piece one fits but the extension arm ones. The cheapos hook on and off real quick if you decide to not use QH's for tiller but for other stuff that doesn't have drive shafts. I did buy a longer upper arm from TSC for about $20 to take care of that problem. You may not need one so hook up first. Pat's requires time and tools to install and take off. I haven't installed my latest ones that sit on top yet, will probably today to see if they have any issues.

I love my Pats EZ Hitch - it really saves you time when hooking up to stuff.. BUT you really need the spreader bar and even then you may end up off/on the tractor a couple times getting hooked up..

As a kid i remember trying to get our rough cutter hooked up to an 8n - such a pain backing up trying to line up the hitch pins one at a time.. and having to man handle the cutter to get the second pins lined up..

I love my Pats.

My Kubota has adjustable lower links that are held in place with chains....almost always all I need to do is set them for the right width adjustment and then back up, lift the arms and I'm connected.

I have hydraulic top link, thus top link connection is easy.

Happens that my shredder drive shaft has sufficient length, so no problem. However, if there were a problem, there is a drive shaft extension that is available from TSC.

Also, there is now a new kind of Pats that slips onto the lower link...don't have this and thus cannot describe it accurately. I have the sense that it avoids the problem of extending the lower link length, but cannot be sure.

For me, PATS is the best solution. I installed them and have enjoyed them every time I hooked anything up.

This is an interesting thread. I think I will give Pat a call about my 265 MF arms. The Bushhog box blade and the heavy 'bushhog" both have pins that pass through holes on each side of the arm which is very hard. My son is big enough to help now but the though of him getting hurt for no good reason is very painful if $200 will make it a more "hands" free job.

I usually keep my implements under the deck. In order to clean the area, I needed to move them all. So I dropped the box blade off the back of the tractor in the rock driveway. Then one at a time got the sprayer, rear blade and rotary mower and brought them around and put them in the diveway without paying much attention to how level it was. After cleaning the leaves and dirt up from under the deck, reversed the process. With the Pat's system, hooking up each only took a couple of minutes.

As mentioned in an earlier post, I have switched the turnbuckle stabilizers to the telescopic stabilizers. This was the first test of them. As they hold the lower arms apart instead of colapsing in, no need to use the seperator stick. I also like them because I can use the draw bar to tow the trailers around the yard without the lower arms hitting against the trailer.
