Nice job getting that done Ryan.

But I'd be willing to bet you won't raise it up on a cob pile like that again. :D

Good to have sturdy shoring and cribbing when getting it up that high.

Judging by your post and after having done this work, would it be fair to say that if you had the choice between paying a couple hundred for a rollback to winch it up and move it versus you doing it, you'd use the rollback?

I understand you didn't have a choice in this instance. Just trying to get your opinion on the amount of labor it takes to actually move one of these things.

Knowing what I know now, I still would have done it. The one thing I would have done differently is to use the larger logs shown in the last pic in the last post initialy to block up the bulding. I originaly thought about bringing these, but decided not to as they are to heavy to move by hand and must be placed with a machine. Bringing them also would have meant a second trip, oh yeah, and they are covered in poison ivy !!! If I would have used the huge logs in the beginning, it probably would have saved 2 to 3 hrs and prevernted the building from falling when the wind got gusty.

I am working on the video now.

Yes, that was quite the pile. I guess the best way to sum it up is when your carefuly thought out plan goes to s***, and the building is danger, you make due with what you have handy, oh and DO NOT GO UNDERNEATH IT !!!!! LOL.

Ye Little Shed doesn't look so little going down the road. Are Ye going to keep Ye name? Must be good story somewhere about it.

What are you going to set it on for a foundation?

The interior would sure look much larger if you put in a patio slider on the side you removed to strap it down.

The ye little shed name is going to be removed, a color change is also in the future. The foundation for the shed is ashphalt grindings and treated 2x6's. I did not remove any panels for strapping, the shed has double doors on the front and back. I simply opened them up, secured them, and ran my straps right over the floor.

good job!

It was fun once it was safely on the trailer, and will make for a good future story to tell. Here is a video link to you tube showing much of the move from behind. It is 9min 22 sec long, the first half is pretty uneventful, as it just shows me creeping along under several overhead wires, the second half is better as it shows me squeaking over the narrow bridge, climbing a steep winding hill, gawking neighbors, pulling in my drive with it etc.
