Just picked up a used 54C deck to put on my 2305, and it came with the hydraulic lift kit. I had a previous 2305 that I had the 3-point lifting kit on, so I'm fairly familiar with how the lifting works.

My question, where in the heck does this thing mount to? I know one end has to go to the 2 plates that hang off the main pivot that runs through the frame, but is there a bracket somewhere that I am missing? I could have swore the guy told me it goes to the frame behind the rear wheel, but there is nowhere that this thing could possibly mount to.

Help?? Picture of one installed would be great, my dealer isn't any help.

It replaces the rod from the 3-pt hitch to the mower rockshaft behind the left rear tire. The cylinder bolts to the frame and the piston attaches to the rockshaft with a pin, washer and clip. Here's a link to the install with some blurry pictures (the 1st picture is 3-pt hitch lift rod which gets removed):

I actually ran across those after a ton of searching. The large rear bolt that goes through the cylinder and into the frame of the tractor doesn't seem to be close to any available bolts that are in the frame. The cylinder seems to be too short to reach back towards the axle.
