I have a first generation iTouch iPod and that level application is the neatest and it is very accurate. And it is free!

I installed two, one side to side and one front to front. I have yet to come close to the 45 degrees that it is rated for. 30 degrees or so is the farthest for me so far.

On my web site, i have some pictures including some that show some maintenance locations.

sorry for the long delay....between wasabi planting, more planting and a bit of mowing, combined with a downright alarming week in the financial markets, i've been completely slammed.

don't have an iphone or droid...(thus far I've been a world edition Blackberry guy...but I'm considering a wholesale switch to i phone and mac laptop). In the meantime I'm guessing most of our slopes are no more than 30 degrees although we definately have steeper areas....i've only gotten into "trouble" once so far....slipped down into a drainage ditch and had to do a bit of wallowing to get out.

otherwise i'm awed by where she will go and what she will cut. I'm resisting mowing until i get the locust cut. packing up for another trip to the farm tomorrow. weather looks good for mowing. i've got a crew to cut the locust out. my bet is they wont be able to keep up with the beast....

on another thread we were exploring ammo box placement. here is what i did for the 2445 along with a shot of the orchard:

nice picts. i like your terraces, they give a pretty good idea of the slope in that area. Looks like a couple dogwoods blooming.

Thanks. Dogwoods, cherries, plums and peaches are finishing up blooms...apples are just now bursting buds. This is one of the "flatter" areas of our property. The small field in the foreground was just mowed. You can see one of the larger locust saplings on the right...I mowed probably two dozen of the smaller ones along with tons of 4 to 6' blackberry briars...you can see some debris laying about.
