Well I picked up my harbor freight quick hitch a couple of weeks ago and will be using it in the next few weeks but need to get some of the adapters for the hitch pins, I have six implements right now I need to convert to fit just wondering if anyone has found a cheap place to purchase them or even a home built solution?

TSC has them for not much money, however just today I discovered that the extendsion pipe that comes with ceiling fans appears to be a good fit. Also I have an old X brace from some scalfoling (that"s not spelled right) that works well.

TSC sells cat-1 to cat-2 adaptor bushings for a lot less than the big adaptors. I have never needed them. (I have a HF quick-hitch too...)

I wanted a set for my back blade, so I went to the TSC the last time I was in town ( About 1 hour drive each way). They did not have a clue as to what I was talking about. I had them let me find it on their web page. The clerk said she had never seen any of them.

I ordered a set off of their web page yesterday. Cost was $26.99 plus $7.95 shipping. I ordered some top link busings while while I was ordering. They were $1.99 each

I thought we were talking about the "pipe spacers" on the bottom two pins of the A frame and $1.99 sounds about right. Did you buy the really nice heavy duty ones that MrZukerman posted a picture of ? Also I am not sure of what you are calling a top link bushing. As stated by ayelvington they are not needed but they do provide a tighter fit that I prefer.

yes, they are the ones that cost $26.99. I wish I would have known about the ones for $11.00 that countrybumpkin posted!!

Wish I was a bit more computer savy so I could give you a link, so go to the TSC website and look up sku# 0268454. It is a cat 2 to 1 lift arm bushing. I just slip them over my lower pins and use those circle spring clips to keep them on. When I needed another set is when I found a piece of pipe that I could cut my own from.
