TODAYS SEAT TIME

   / TODAYS SEAT TIME #301
I started ripping out the old decrepit concrete sidewalk around the house a week ago. The ground was dry enough today to run the chunks across the road so that my neighbor can build up the low spots of his trail.

Josh61513,
TWO sets of forks!
:DSadly just the set on the rear is mine which can connect to the 3-point or FEL. The neighbor who I brought the concrete to has a new holland with SSQA too so I borrowed his forks for my FEL which cut my trips in half. Worked great! I figure I was carrying ~2,500-3,000 lbs. of concrete per trip.

1.8 hours mowing (and finding rocks)

I think we've all done that a time or two.:D

I was out today "harvesting" :p some very very old concrete footings.
Dad comes over and says he is getting tired of trying to cut around these footings, and asks if I could dig them out. I hesitantly say ok. I have no idea how deep they go. So I run the tractor over and figure I'll give it a try. Thinking this may take awhile. So I just put the tip of the forks down and gave one end a little push and lift and almost to my suprise out comes a five foot segment. Turns out it wasn't that deep, about a foot. Ten minutes later its all out.

Darn that was over to fast.:(

At least the clean up and backfill took a little longer.:D

Now I just wonder why I haven't done that sooner:p

Don't know how heavy this stuff is but two pieces is all I could lift and keep the back down with 500# bb for a counter weight. Even then it was a little tippy.

Today's seat time...cut up some cedars knocked down by ice storm last year. Drug them out with the 'Bota and set them in the ground to start a treehouse for the kids. :D
