Finally found a good gas can

if i got caught spending $21 on a fuel can i'd be sleeping with the tractors and the atv's in the barn. but that does look like it would work better than what i've got now.

I hear you, I had to think about it awhile before I coughed up the money too:laughing: Paying over $20 for a gas can does leave you feeling violated.

I may just go back to storing gas in the old plastic milk jugs. It would be better than new cans out now.

IFew years ago I bought a new metal 'jerry can' at Northern Tool and it had the good nozzle which pushes back and lets fuel flow until you release pressure on the can/pull it out of the tank.

Really messed up when I didn't buy a handful of the replacements they had there for sale at the time.:(:(

I have 4 of the no spill containers. One is yellow for diesel. I wish they had blue for kerosene, they work great for filling my kerosene heater in the shop. -Keith

Like everyone else, I grew weary of using the newly designed fuel cans.... climbing up on the tractor and balancing five gallons of diesel is no job for a one-legged fat man... at first, I drilled and tapped threads in my cans and installed a thumb-screw in the hole... remove the thumb screw and vent the can... works much better.
Recently I'v begun buying off-road diesel ( much less expensive) and putting it in a 55 gallon barrel.. equipped this with a 12-volt pump and can fill my fuel tank in less than 2 minutes.... I never knew life could be so good. lol

These don't work well when trying to pour into a funnel .

I wanna do this too!

Where can I get a 55 gallon barrel?

Are you using an car/ truck fuel pump?

Do you take the barrel to the station to fill it?

I guess you could keep the barrel on a pallet & fork lift it on & off the bed of a truck?
