Clearly I believe it shouldn't be "auctioned" here per the administrator, but why stop discussions? My thought is that if I were the winner, I'd pay for it but not take it. It could be auctioned again then.

Hey Guys,

There are state laws on running auction sites and we're not set up to do that. While it's highly unlikely that there would be a problem with just one thread like this, we have certain considerations beyond merely taking a chance (our liability insurance being the first thing that comes to mind).

As I mentioned to tallyho8, the best bet would be to do it through eBay and then post a thread linking to the eBay auction. This way members can discuss the auction and where it goes without it taking place on TBN.
