It's coming along, Sam.
I was wondering how you will finish the interior concrete? We had plaster put on ours. One thing the plasterer said to do was to paint all the form tie ends with Zinnser BIN primer. This is supposed to keep the rust on the steel from bleeding through the plaster. I think it would work for stains too.
Just a thought.
Dave.
We plan on an acid stain and polish on floors and a special mix for all concrete walls which is white Portland, titanium dioxide and marble dust. The titanium dioxide is what is used as pigment in all paint after lead was removed. It also helps stop mold from forming. The white Portland is the main ingredient and the marble dust also helps to keep it bright white and provides a good filler. This mixture will not be affected by moisture after it dries. It is basically cement and it looks great.
Looking forward to a pic of that wall treatment Sam. How is it applied?
Dave.
It is handled the same as plaster
